Walk/Route to the Bizkaia bridge

Hanging Bridge & Spa Route

Palacio Arriluce Hotel invites you to discover the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Bizkaia bridge (Hanging Bridge), in an original and fun way through a guided bike or walking tour along the seaside, passing by some of the most important points in the area. The experience includes a typical pintxo tasting and Txakoli wine, and concludes with an exclusive relaxing treatment at the hotel's spa.

 

What will be the route?

The journey will begin at the hotel. Following the dedicated bike path or walking path, you will pass through the most emblematic coastal areas.

The route will continue to the Puente Colgante, the world's first transporter bridge built with a metal structure and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Once there, you will cross in the suspended gondola to the fishing village of Portugalete, where you will enjoy one of the typical culinary creations, a pintxo, along with a local Txakoli wine. The return to the hotel will follow the same route, ending with a treatment at the hotel's spa to relax after the journey.

Palacio Arriluce Hotel also offers the option to enhance the experience with lunch at its Delunay restaurant.
